• Things going on right now:  Sung Yi is talking about coming out here to DC....soon.  She quit her last job and has received a few other offers already....but she wants to make one last trip before she starts working.  She said she would only come to DC if I really wanted her to come (I had suggested it two nights ago but am now starting to second-guess myself).

  
  

  As I think about it, I am feeling 1) guilty and 2) h*rny.  Regarding #2, no explanation needed.  Regarding #1, let me explain.  This girl falls in love easily.  And because I had said I wanted her to come, she is coming (better be careful with that word, haha).  What do I say to her if I find out after she arrives here that she's not the "one"?

  
  

  This Satuday, I got a date with a Korean-American girl that I met at a LINK (Liberation in North Korea) gathering this past Wednesday at the K Street Lounge in DC.  She's 23 years-old, pretty cute, naive as hell (as in v*rgin), and a devout Christian.  In other words, nothing is gonna happen (and that's also partly my choice), and I'll probably end up playing wise, weather-beaten, jaded male baby-sitter to another wonder-eyed young lady.  So why am I meeting her if I know nothing's gonna happen in either the "fooling around" OR "marriage" departments????  I have no idea.  I mean, I know nothing's gonna happen (and I wouldn't allow it even if I could).  But I guess it beats staying home alone.

  
  

  Still it gets me thinking:  There are two or three girls I would seriously consider getting serious with.  Maybe Sung Yi is one of them?  Maybe there's one further up north in the NY/NJ area I would consider?  Maybe there's someone on the west coast?  Maybe someone at church?  The problem is that while they all want to find someone and eventually get married, they'd rather, for the time being, just hang out with their female friends or concentrate on work, only to complain later (which they will) that they're getting older and are all alone.  Well, duh!  You get what you ask for.  And while I wait for such girls to make up their minds, I can either stay home alone on a Satuday night....or go out with another cute (though more naive) girl.  Guess what I'm choosing??

  
  

  So until I meet (or realize I met) Ms. Right, this Saturday, I will be hanging with a 23 year-old kid.....and having a pretty damn innocent time of it.  The condoms will stay in my drawers (no pun intended, haha).

  
  

  Another note:  Why is it that when a Korean-American chick starts a sh*t-talking war with a K-A guy.....and then when the guy talks sh*t back, the girl gets all upset and tells everyone that the guy started it and she did nothing wrong at all??  Yo chick, it's called lack of accountability and responsibility on your part!  If you're willing to give some major sh*t, better be prepared to get it back.  But don't play innocent either and pretend you were the wronged party!
