  • Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!  God's blessing on all of you, and may 2008 be a lot better than 2007!

    I was with my family as Dec. 31 is a big family event.  And not because it is New Year's Eve.  Then I went to sleep totally drunk for the last time (having resolved to give up alcohol and nicotine in 2008). 

    While asleep in my drunken state, I ended up having the WEIRDEST of dreams about one of my xanga readers (won't say who).  Now I don't know if I'll ever be ever look at her in the eye again without turning red.  Darn you, alcohol-induded dreams!

    Anyways......

    Goals for 2008:

    1.  Read the Bible everyday.

    2.  Pray everyday.

    3.  Look after my family.

    4.  Work harder at the job.

    5.  Run the Cherry Blossom Ten-Mile Race in under 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    6.  Make a lot of money.

    7.  Marry this one girl named XXXXX.....and then bang her like there's no tomorrow.  Put a dent in the headboard while doing it.  Record on camcorder if necessary.

    8.  Write the great American novel.  Or at least the great American short story.

    9.  Quit saying to random girls at church I don't even know like this one, "Oh yeah....nice xanga page by the way."  It embarrasses them.

    10.  Have more enthusiasm for life because it is a gift from God.
