• So THIS is what it's like to sit at my desk again with a computer.  Damn!!!!! 

  
  

  I'm afraid I'll fall asleep now in this comfortable environment.  Working with your hands while standing on your feet isn't comfortable after a few hours, but at least you don't fall asleep.  As soon as you sit down, you do.  Imagine how I feel now sitting in a comfortable seat at my desk.

  
  

  Uh, random topic.  What do you think of the bending of the rules?  I can tell you that in different shapes and forms, there have been all kinds of bending of the rules.  It happens at work, it happens in life, everywhere.  So where do you draw the line???

  I talked with Sung Yi recently.  It turns out her favorite TV show is "Sex & the City" (she's got the whole thing on DVD).  I asked her which one of the girls she was like.  She thinks she's a little of Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda (oh God, how I wish she was like Samantha).  She asked which one of the guys I was.  I said I was mostly Berger (the intellectual guy with a chip on his shoulder who is basically white-collar but who wants to appear shabby and blue-collar in hip Manhattan just to prove a point) but that I could identify with Aiden (the conservative, bland guy who wants a wife and kids) and Big (the slick lover of wine and cigars and remaining single while banging Carrie as often as possible but keeping an emotional distance from her); on the last one, I could see how a guy would suddenly want his distance from a girl after having b*ned her....ESPECIALLY if he's still hurting over another girl from his past.

  
  

  Sung Yi asked me if I would change toward her if we slept together.  I said I didn't know. 

  
  

  And now there's talk of us meeting up in either Seoul, Korea or.....LA.  Hmmm....  This is gonna be ONE interesting year.
