  • On this my day off....

I cleaned my condo for the first time in....almost a year.  It's spic and span now.  Took me almost three days to do everything.  It was pretty freakin' nasty.

I went to my parents' home.  Then I went to buy some running shoes.  After THREE years, I have bought the PERFECT running shoes.  It felt like I had a mini-trampoline on each foot.

Then I met this friend of mine from my Korean-speaking Bible study at Starbucks near Tyson's Corner.  He asked me if I minded if he smoked.  I said no, and that I was going to say the same thing to him.  We lit up and drank our caramel frappucinos.

He asked me who I banged at church, and I asked more about his past life (I already knew from previous discussions with him and our Bible study leader that he was a former gang member in LA who had even served time in jail).  I'll write more about that conversation later.

Relaxing now.  So much to do tomorrow.  But I got a lot done today.

  • this is not true, the water does recede sometimes, so it can very well be shallow. i love my charles river, today was our first day out actually rowing for the season..unfortuantely it was pouring and so i was drenched (it wasn't raining up until i left the bus without my waterproof pants...blah. it was beautiful though, no one else was really out on the river, since we're on two weeks early (next week is spring break in georgia) and it was nice, even if it was wicked early.

  • ryc:  relieving stress is good.  that's why i have to party it off once a month or else work will drain me down.  have a good day oppa.
